St. John Vianney has been providing a Catholic/Christian education to the greater Sacramento area since 1960. In addition to serving families in Rancho Cordova, St. John Vianney has a large student population from the Gold River, Fair Oaks and Rancho Murieta communities. Our grade levels include Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. St. John Vianney Catholic School emphasizes a quality education, stressing traditional Catholic values, high academic standards, service to the community, and respect for all people. Our student population is one of the most culturally diverse among Sacramento’s private schools. Children from all faiths are welcome. WHAT WE OFFER Academics St. John Vianney School is known among private/parochial schools for its strong reading, math, science and technology programs. We use a St. John Vianney also boasts a state-of-the-art computer lab that includes 38 computers and a mobile lab available to all teachers to use in their classrooms. Accreditation In 2005, St. John Vianney School received a six-year WCEA/WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) certification. SUPPORTING STUDENTS AND FAMILIES The St. John Vianney School campus has a safe and spacious environment with a transitional kindergarten, a full-day kindergarten, and a before and after-school Extension Program. The Extension Program actively extends the school's philosophy to care for the whole child. We also offer a nutritious hot lunch program four days a The school receives substantial support from St. John Vianney Parish, providing both financial support and spiritual leadership. In addition to this, the school has an active School Advisory and Parents’ Club. All parents are encouraged to attend meetings and become involved in the education of their children.
