Rancho Murieta Senior Match Play
The Rancho Murieta Senior Men's Club Match Play starts July 27th. Entry forms are in the Pro Shop and Men's Locker Room. The cost is only $15. Entrys are limited to the first 64 seniors and entries will close on Saturday July 23rd at 2:00 PM. Don't be left out, the winner has his name engraved on a perpetual trophy in the trophy case, and will be asked to play on the Senior Men's team that plays the Mureita Cup against those young whipper snappers in the Men's Club. For those that do not want to commit to multiple days of tournament play, including yours truly, the event is only one day for half the field. Good luck. Bob Denham, Match Play Director

Golf course treatment
Having played golf after work the last two evenings on the south course I have to ask a couple of questions. We went out and hired the best superintendent that we possibly could and he is doing a fantastic job with somewhat limited resources. Last evening I had to ask myself if there had been a bunch of outside play by non-members? I kind of doubt it! I must say that I repaired a dozen or more ball marks on every single green! Our greens are getting back to great condition and now it seems that some members or non-members have NO respect for the course condition or the other members!! Read more »
