The last community blood drive of the year takes place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Cantova Way. The drives are conducted by BloodSource and sponsored by the Rancho Murieta Women's Club four times a year. Walk-ins are always welcome and appointments can be made by contacting coordinator Sally Paravantes at 354-2885. Child care is available, and cookies and juice are provided for donors. Start: 1:30 pm

Bereavement Support Group, sponsored by Hospice of Amador, provides a safe, confidential place for community members who have sustained a loss through death to share their grief.
