Communion services
The Optimist Club stages its annual video arcade for the children of the community Friday,
Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Rancho Murieta Association Building.
Friday is Teen Night, with video games and pizza offered from 6 to 10 p.m. On Saturday,
the event is open to all ages from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hot dogs and beverages will be
available. A donation of $3 per child is requested.

The Rancho Murieta Aviators Club meets weekly. On the first Sunday of the month, the club displays historical aircraft over 35 years of age. Admission is free.

Bereavement Support Group, sponsored by Hospice of Amador, provides a safe, confidential place for community members who have sustained a loss through death to share their grief. The group is facilitated by Marilyn Swabe and bereavement counselor Kathie Praetorius. Location: RMA Building.
Rotary meets at the CSD Building every Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. All Rotarians and interested individuals are invited to attend.

If you are researching your family (or are interested in learning how to begin) then join in the fun. Activities include topics of interest, sharing of information, organization tips and much more. Our members are researching nearly 200 surnames in many, many states and countries. Sloughhouse AGS is a member of the Genealogical and Historical Council of the Sacramento Valley.

The bookmobile visits the Village Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays.
Games are played every Wednesday at the Country Club.
Rancho Murieta Community Church, 7220 Murieta Drive
A community service organization with several programs that address special needs in the community.
One program places adaptive devices like walkers and wheelchairs on
short-term loan. Another delivers midday meals to the homebound Monday
through Friday at a cost of $5.50 per meal. The club also acts as the
charter organization for Boy Scout Troop 633 and Cub Pack 633 and helps
in the Adopt-a-Highway program.
The club meets twice a month. Fundraising events include participation
in Trash 'n' Treasure, Casino Corral, and selling refreshments at
Fourth of July and other community festivities.

This group, which meets weekly, offers an opportunity for people who like to sing to get together and perform.
