The 9th annual Summerfest Wine and Food Gala takes place at Rancho Murieta Airport. It's a large-scale event that features wines from Amador County and Napa Valley wineries and food from fine area restaurants. Entertainment includes dancing to the music of rhythm and blues band Love Train, live and silent auctions, and a flying demonstration by local aviators. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at MarShaTes or the Rancho Murieta Association. For information, call 354-0566. | ||

Bereavement Support Group, sponsored by Hospice of Amador, provides a safe, confidential place for community members who have sustained a loss through death to share their grief.
