Bereavement Support Group, sponsored by Hospice of Amador, provides a safe, confidential place for community members who have sustained a loss through death to share their grief. The group is facilitated by Marilyn Swabe and bereavement counselor Kathie Praetorius.  Location: RMA Building.

A community service organization with several programs that address special needs in the community.

One program places adaptive devices like walkers and wheelchairs on
short-term loan. Another delivers midday meals to the homebound Monday
through Friday at a cost of $5.50 per meal. The club also acts as the
charter organization for Boy Scout Troop 633 and Cub Pack 633 and helps
in the Adopt-a-Highway program.

The club meets twice a month. Fundraising events include participation
in Trash 'n' Treasure, Casino Corral, and selling refreshments at
Fourth of July and other community festivities.

The Women's Ministry of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church is sponsoring its second annual "Wine, Women, and Song" evening at the church on Cantova Way.  The purpose of this free event is to gather women of the community together to celebrate their shared Christian faith and friendship.

The evening begins with a wine and cheese social, followed by a special message from Deacon Dennis Merino. It concludes with a vocal performance by Audrey Langstroth and other performers. Attendees are asked to bring a bottle of wine or a cheese and cracker tray.  Tables for eight may be reserved.  Donations will be accepted for the
Sacramento Life Center. RSVP by calling 354-1362 or e-mailing kgjones@sbcglobal.net.

Murieta Village's annual Bake Sale and Craft Faire happens at the Murieta Village Clubhouse. Homemade baked goods and jellies, and handmade one-of-a-kind jewelry, crocheted items, quilts, handbags, cards, ceramics, and holiday decorations are among the many items that will be available for purchase. Free coffee and cookies will be offered at the door.
