Been watching the EUROS 2012 championship and it appears that ESPN goes down and freezes and becomes "unaivalable" exactly during the game on weekends.

Is this a trend?

Ditto!

Annoying, is it not?  Did you see SJ versus LA yesterday?  Beckham truly displayed his lack of class, now he is all but washed up.  Sad really, to have such a controlled talent without it encompassing his inner spirit.

Have you lost your dog?  My dayughter has it in her yard, attaching photo. Looks like a black spitz type. She thinks it's a boy, cannot be sure  though due to all the fur.  Please call her, Hayley @ 934-4250 or myself @ 2349.

Wasp check and part replacement next week.

We have been reviewing the ESPN problem over the past week...not much to go on. Intermittent problems are difficult to find when it's not doing it.

We have determine the problem is likely at the satellite dish. ESPN was recently upgraded to a newer digital satellite receiver...which is more sensitive to signal drift which can be caused by weather changes and many other items. We have ordered a higher quality low noise amp to install on the ESPN feed at the dish. We plan to do that install next week. As any work in the satellite dish will disrupt service on all channels received on that dish (we use 6 dishes to receive over 230 satellite channels) we will post notice as soon as the time for the work is determined.

As we change the LNB (Low Noise BlockConverter) on the satellite feedhorn it will also allow us to check the feedhorn for wasps beyond the visible area. From time to time they fly up into the feedhorn and build nests causing intermittent problems.

We are sorry you had trouble.

Same kind of problems with HBO and Showtime

I am experiencing problems with freezing and pixilation on my premium channels as well, Showtime and HBO. It seems to be intermittant but makes the shows unviewable when it happens. Any thoughts on this?

Please stop....

I very respectfully request that residents use the existing problem reporting procedure...calling the RMA office and reporting a problem or asking to talk to me in my office.

This method of scheduling service calls leaves much to be desired.

Ray, I will call you on Monday to get specifics on the problem.

I'm not trying to make this hard....but we have a system to insure calls get documented and scheduled and trying to diagnose and solve problems this way is difficult.

With this being a small system and me being "on call" every day and night...365 days a year, I get little enough time away from work. I'd rather not spend too much of that time answering questions or diagnosing cable or internet problems on line.

With almost two thousand of you and one of me I can quickly be overwhelmed if we continue down this path.
