John McGinness to Speak at the Wednesday Aug 22nd River Valley Tea Party Patriots Meeting

Former Sacramento County Sheriff and current radio talk show host John McGinness will speak at the monthy River Valley Tea Party Patriots meeting. Sheriff McGinness will discuss the propositions on the November 6 General Election ballot. The theme of the meeting is voter education and how to help get out the vote for the coming election. Particular attention will be paid to Proposition 30, the tax increase initiative. The meeting is at the Cosumnes River Elementary School. The doors will open at 6:30 P.M. and the meeting will start at 7:00 p.m.. All are welcome.
Last night's meeting was a rousing success. Nearly 90 people attended, and were informed and entertained by the speakers. Former Sheriff John McGinness provided his insights on not only the November Propositions, but also pending legislation, highlighting the very obvious fact that the current California legislature is listening only to special interest money.
We rolled out our Get Out The Vote, Post Card program, and more than 30 people volunteered to send out more than 800 post cards. Thank you so much for your support. We hope to maximize the turn out of thoroughly informed voters at the November election.
