Bandits play Sunday in close title race

With the league championship hanging in the balance, the Rancho Murieta Bandits play their final game at home this Sunday! Tied atop the standings at 6-1 with the Amador County Crushers, the league title will be decided this weekend.

At stake is an August trip to Santa Clara, CA for the California Cup Tournament. The League Champion gets an automatic bid to the Cup tournament, while the second place team will earn the top seed in the Gold Country Vintage Base Ball Tournament. That will make 3 more must win games for a team to make it to the California Cup.

Come out to Stonehouse Park to support the local boys of summer, and enjoy some great vintage base ball...the way the game was meant to be played.
