Next blood drive coming up Monday

The Rancho Murieta Women’s Club will conduct a Blood Drive on Monday, July 23, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 14673 Cantova Way.  Participants will be entered into a drawing for a pack of four Sacramento River Cats baseball tickets.  

To give blood, you must be in generally good health, free from cold symptoms for at least 48 hours, at least 17 years old (16 years old with parental consent) and weigh at least 110 pounds.  There is no upper age limit for donating blood.  Prospective donors should eat and drink before donating and must bring a photo ID.  

The entire process takes about an hour.  Walk-ins are welcome, childcare is available and homemade cookies are provided to participants.
