PAC12 & Tennis launch moving ahead as NFL/RedZone on hold!
While the NFL Network has denied our request to launch their channels on Digital Basic (see previous post) we are excited to be moving forward with the launch of of the NEW PAC12 Networks (7 channels) and the Tennis Channel.
The PAC12 Networks will televise annually 850 live sporting events including 35 football games, more than 130 men's basketball games and 650 Olympic sports events.
PAC12 Networks consist of seven networks, each with it's own channel, which include the National Network and 6 Regional Networks:
PAC12 Los Angeles (USC & UCLA)
PAC12 Washington (Washington & Washington State)
PAC12 Oregon (Oregon & Oregon State)
PAC12 Bay Area (Stanford & Cal)
PAC12 (Arizona (Arizona & Arizona State)
PAC12 (Mountain (Utah & Colorado)
Additionally, all PAC12 networks will be available on our Watch TV Everywhere service both live and as Video on Demand. Allowing subscribers to watch PAC12 games on computers and mobiles devices while away from their TV.
The Tennis Channel is the only 24 hour television based multimedia destination dedicated to the professional sport and passionate lifestyle of Tennis!
We are very disappointed our launch request was denied at this time for the NFL Network and RedZone. When we increase the number of subscribers to the Digital Tier we will revisit the launch of NFL & RedZone.
