DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
(SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER)

COMING SOON TO A CHURCH NEAR YOU -- ST. VINCENT DE PAUL: Your Pastoral Council is very happy to announce a new program to make your Saturday and Sunday sacrificial offerings far easier. We will soon begin to provide you, our beloved parishioners, with the opportunity to make your giving far less stressful via an Electronic Offering Program. This is a Win-Win program that over the coming weeks we will begin to explain in more detail.

PARISHIONERS NEEDED TO JOIN “THE FIGHT ON CANCER” RELAY: Come join us and help up make up a team for the American Cancer Society’s RELAY FOR LIFE within our Rancho Murieta community. Let’s represent our Church Family with a team in this worthwhile event. We are looking for at least 24 volunteers to participate, to raise money for cancer and help the fight to eradicate this disease. From this group we also be looking for someone to be the Captain, whose job will be to lead the team. - no experience needed! Fun for all… The Relay For Life is on July 24-25, and it celebrates cancer survivors, remembers lives lost, and fights back against the disease. ANNUAL WESTERN BAR-BE-QUE DINNER DANCE: Mark April 30 on your calendar and get your tickets early. No Host Bar at 6:30pm - Dinner at 7:30pm and dancing to follow until midnight. For further information, please see Gloria Tisdale. Tickets are on sale after Sat. and Sun. Masses. Cost - $37.50 per person.

THE VOCATION CROSS: A special thank you to Jim and Laurie Beck for taking the Vocation Cross for March. Let us pray for Gene and Bonnie DeCrona as they take the cross in April. If you would like to receive the Vocation Cross into your home for prayer through the upcoming months, please notify Bob or Margie Coffman at 354-1744 or call the church office at 354-2403.

ARE YOU A CAMERA BUG? We need photos from all events taking place at the church. Bring your camera with you every time you come. SVDP is looking for someone to be our official photographer. If you are interested please contact Deacon Dennis. Don't forget anyone can snap a photo and turn it in to Deacon Dennis; who knows, your photo might be published on our upcoming Church website.

FLOWERS FOR EASTER: The Art and Environment Committee would like to thank all parishioners who responded to the call for CALLA LILLIES, EASTER LILLIES or AZALEAS to help beautify our church for the Easter Season. A special thanks to Walter Dunajski for sharing his beautiful Orchards with us. We would like to thank the committee of Connie Laxague, Arlis, Himmelmann, Sue Sydner, Maryann Corsaut and Ginger Peacock for the decorations and the Beautiful Banner that’s hanging in our church for the Easter Season. Excellent work ladies.

SAVE THIS DATE…WINE, WOMEN AND SONG 2010 is coming to St Vincent de Paul on May 27 at 6pm. This year’s featured speaker is the renown Author/Lector, Anne Bryan Smollin, CSJ, PhD. She is an international speaker on topics such as humor; laughter; joy; stress; interpersonal relationships; communications; and motivation. Admission is Free. Refreshments will be served. The public is invited.
