[Nov. 11] Workers
continued putting the pieces of Murieta's pedestrian bridge
together on the north and the south banks of the Cosumnes
River this week. The next step will be to place the bridge
sections on the piers and abutments. Construction of the
bridge broke ground May 30 and is expected to be completed
by early next year. The $1.75 million project is funded
with developer money to meet a county-imposed condition
for development.
