SHELTER from the STORM

[March 8] Residents have been watching Rancho Murieta’s first bus shelter take shape on a strip of land next to the South Gate. Wednesday, Rancho Murieta Association workers poured the 20-foot-square slab. Maintenance Manager Rod Hart, working at right, said the shelter is expected to be completed next week when the supplier returns to install the roof, and two benches and a bike rack go in. The Kiwanis Club solicited a $44,000 commitment from South developer Reynen & Bardis for two shelters and contributed $4,000 of the club's funds last year for this first shelter, which costs $26,000.
