CAR FLIPS

[December 2] A
Murietan escaped serious injury Saturday afternoon after
she drove her white Chevy Trailblazer into the back of
a parked truck and the SUV flipped on its side. The accident
occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Reynosa Drive across from
Riverview Park. CHP and Security officers on the scene
attributed the cause of the accident to inattentive driving.
The driver, whose name was not released, was described
as "shaken up" but not visibly injured. She was taken to
Kaiser South by Fire Station 59 emergency medical personnel.
Ralph Swasey said he had parked his half-ton 2004 Chevy
Silverado pick-up truck on the street so the gardener could
blow the leaves off his driveway. Security officers directed
traffic at the scene as a constant stream of children on
bikes and scooters, dogwalkers, and parents pushing strollers
headed to and from the park. |
