Getting a first look at Murieta's new school

Officials of the Elk Grove Unified School District have released the following computer-generated illustrations of the new school planned to replace Cosumnes River Elementary School. The facility's design -- approved by the district board Sept. 5 -- is inspired by several existing schools, they said.

They emphasized that the colors shown are not the actual colors that will be used.
