CLEMENTIA WEEKEND

(August 22) Resident Chaya Pitcher, above, was one of the headliners at "Praiz in the Park," a fundraiser for the Rancho Murieta Community Church's building fund. The event was held Sunday afternoon at Lake Clementia Amphitheater, where an enthusiastic audience of about 300 was entertained by four groups performing Christian music. Dancing Under the Stars, below, Saturday night's Entertainment, Theatre and Culture event at the Amphitheater, attracted a crowd of more than 225. It was fun for all ages as deejay Michael Salazar got parents and kids dancing to Motown tunes, the chicken dance and, as he put it,“the chicken dance for adults” -- the Macarena.
