CSD will hear water conservation, development plans

At its meeting Wednesday, the Community Services District board of directors will review a public outreach plan and schedule for water conservation pricing that would go into effect in January. The board will also receive a presentation from a land-use consultant for Parcel 1, the 18-acre apartment site located between the Rancho Murieta Association Building and Jackson Road.

The plan for 111 lots on Parcel 1 was first presented to the community in 2000. (See archived coverage here.)  At that time, it met with opposition from RMA, and the CSD determined the water allotment for the site was inadequate to serve the single-family lots. The site is zoned for multi-family housing.

The open session begins at 5 p.m. The agenda and board packet are available here
