July 4 schedule and gate-pass info
July 4 is the community's biggest holiday, one full of events and, by Rancho Murieta standards, crowds. By the time the fireworks roll around, the community's population has swelled. Here is the day's schedule and, to help with the crowds, a request about gate passes.
Fourth of July activities are open to Rancho Murieta residents and their guests.
To avoid congestion at the gate, the Rancho Murieta Association and Security ask that you pick up guest passes in advance and distribute them to your guests. The first three passes are free and additional passes are $5 each. They're available at the RMA Building. In addition to regular business hours, the RMA office is open on Thursdays in June until 7 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4.

When can we put out our blankets and chairs for the 4th fire works show?
I believe in the past years it was requested that blankets not be put down until the morning of the 4th.

Because people used to put down blankets several days before, it killed the grass underneath... DAH!!!!, so please don't put your blankets down until 4th of July. I do remember one year, if blankets were put down before the 4th, they were taken and piled up somewhere.
