Rancho Murieta celebrated another Fourth of July with the all-American small-town traditions (think Mayberry with golf carts) that make it the biggest day of the year, and set some records doing it. From the pancake breakfast that begins the day to the fireworks that cap the celebration, see the whole day here in pictures, 211 of them.  Here's our look at July 4, 2009:

First Annual Pie Baking Contest Results

The first annual pie baking contest was a total success!

The following were winners in the junior division:

1st Place - Selma Gebhardt

2nd Place - Travis Abshire

The winners in the adult division were:

1st Place - Sue Clark

2nd Place - Joan Adams

3rd Place - Lana Tomlinson
