Helping others by getting pretty

Haircut

Manicure

Good grooming paid off in donations for the American Cancer Society at Murieta Hair and Nail Salon's Cut-A-Thon and Nail-A-Thon Sunday. Above, Betty Lewis received a haircut from Bonnie Burberry, one of the hairstylists who volunteered for the event as a member of the Cutting for a Cure team participating in Rancho Murieta's first American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The event is being held Aug. 1-2 at Stonehouse Park. At right, Devin Dodson, 4, and her sister, Alexis, 5, display their nails after getting manicures from Michelle Le as their mother, Sharon Dodson, looks on. The girls also got haircuts. "It's their beauty day to support the cause," Dodson said.

Success!

The fundraiser at Murieta Hair and Nails yesterday was a GREAT success.  Thank you to team "Cutting for a Cure" for all of your creativity and efforts towards this great cause!  It's shaping up to be a fantastic Relay For Life on August 1-2!
