Video: Relay for Life brings good work, and emotion, to Murieta

Relay for Life

Rancho Murieta’s first American Cancer Society Relay for Life over the weekend was an emotional and successful event. It raised more than $40,000. If you couldn’t make it to Stonehouse Park, here are the sights and sounds of the event’s 24 hours. (4:14)

Let us know?

We're experimenting with the quality of our video presentations to give you better picture and sound and may be pushing the envelope.  Would you post here to let us know if you see this video properly or if it stutters?  We'll dial back if need be.  Thanks.

stutters, but great coverage!

For us, the video stuttered a bit...but the picture was clear throughout.

Nevertheless, the coverage of the event was great...thanks so much for giving this special event, and the cause for cancer awareness, such great attention.

Relay for Life Video

Great Video, thank you Rancho Murieta, com!

Mine did sutter a little throughout the video, but WOW, what a great way to tell the story!  We were there the entire 24 hours and it was one of the most amazing experiences.  We are already planning for next year's participation!

Thanks to everyone for the support!

Video

Thanks for capturing the event.  It was a wonderful tribute and great cause.  I am proud to have been a small part in the walk and to have met  so many brave, caring and supportive folks.  In answer to your question, the video was "stop and go" thru the entire piece, I was grateful to have the chance to view it,  even with the filming problems  it was still very  emotional.

There -- better now?

We've tweaked the video.  We traded a little picture and sound quality for a better download.

But maybe it wasn't enough.  If you have a broadband connection and you have any trouble seeing the video, please do us a favor and drop a note here, by private message or by e-mail to editor@ranchomurieta.com.  We need the members' help to find the right balance between picture/sound quality and a download that doesn't stall and stutter.

Thanks for helping to build a better RM.com.

Wonderful Video, Wonderful Event

My download was continuous throughout without any stutters, and I found the picture/sound quality to be excellent.  Thank you to RM.com for such thorough coverage of the Relay For Life Event.  With your help, we will see an even greater number of participants and fundraising in years to come.  Thanks to Brenda Carmichael for introducing Rancho Murieta to this worthy cause and for so skillfully organizing it's Inaugural Year.
