RMA seeks candidates for two board seats
The Rancho Murieta Association Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for two vacancies on the board of directors. The terms run from Dec. 1 through November 2010.
The seats are now held by Jack Cooper and Anne Denker.
The RMA bylaws state that any member interested in being a candidate must be a resident, own property, and be a member of the association in good standing, which is defined as being current in the payment of all assessments, fees, charges and fines.
Members who are interested in the board positions can complete an application form and conflict of interest statement, available at the RMA office or here. The forms must be received at the RMA office by 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13.
The Nominating Committee will submit candidates' names to the board of directors at the Sept. 18 board meeting. The committee is chaired by Paul Gumbinger, with members Bonnie Shewchuk, Chelle Kaiser, April Mattice and Ron Ruff.
Ballots and information about the annual meeting will be mailed to members in October. A Candidates Night will be held in mid-October, and taped for broadcast on RMA Channel 5.
Voting will take place by mail and at the annual meeting in November.
Questions can be directed to Danise Hetland, assistant general manager, at 354-3500.
