The RM Niners Charm & Putt Tournament was played on September 6, followed by the Niners monthly general meeting.

RM Niners Captain Chris Pasek won the charm with a net of 36 while Judy Forman and Barbara Irelan tied for low putts with 14.

Chris Pasek also broke 50 for the third time this year, sharing "break 50" honors for the month with Mary Silvis and Mary Beth Almeida.

Most improved golfers for the month are: First, Judy Forman; second, Judy Somers; third, Marilyn Moore; and fourth, Sharon Hearden.

The chip-in sheet for August disappeared from the bulletin board. Please let Fran Hubbert know if you get a chip-in during the month and note all chip-ins, birdies, and break 50s on your scorecards. Fran wants to be sure those who deserve awards actually receive them.

The Niners guest day is October 4, and the cost is $32 per player. Sign up and put your check in the box by the shoe valet as soon as possible. We will be playing 18 holes, alternate shot format, on the South Course.

Don't forget to mark your calendar for the charm playoff, October 11, and the putt playoff, October 18.

Invitational tournaments are scheduled for October at Cameron Park, Lincoln Hills, and Oakdale. Check the ladies locker room for more details and the signup sheets.
