Cosumnes River Elementary school is seeking volunteer tutors who want to share their love of reading by helping students who are struggling with this skill. Reading tutors will work either one-on-one or in small groups with children for up to an hour at a time on a consistent basis (either daily, weekly, etc.). We may also have opportunities for math tutoring; please
inquire if interested. Training is provided!

A one-hour session will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 1 p.m. at the school. Other sessions may be scheduled to address a wider range of grade levels. All tutors must receive fingerprint clearance from the Elk Grove Unified School District prior to working with students. The District offers free fingerprinting several hours a day; call 686-7797, ext. 7238, for details.

As an added bonus, volunteers who receive fingerprint clearance from the District are
