The Rancho Murieta Niners are winding down their 2007 golfing fun but have two big events coming up in November and December.

The annual Turkey Shoot is set for November 8. It will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start, followed by a sit-down luncheon in the Terrace Lounge and a general meeting. The cost is $15 and will be charged to members’ accounts. Winners will be presented their “turkey” certificates at the meeting. This is always a fun event, so join us and maybe go home a winner.

The Christmas party will be on December 13 and golf is optional. This will be a sit-down luncheon program starting at 11 a.m. The Murieta Singers will provide entertainment beginning at 11:30, followed by luncheon at 12:30, and a business meeting and awards presentation during dessert.

Former Captains and retired Niners are invited and will be receiving written invitations. Last year, 68 gals attended and we are hoping for more this year. It’s a great chance to celebrate the season and see old friends and meet new ones.
