A pretty nice thing...

I would just like to say that I think what the club did on Saturday night was tremendous.  To take a trip back in time was fabulous.  It's no secret that the average age of the club is over 60 years old any many of our residents lived through that time, it's never a bad thing to reflect on what many feel was the birth of what life in America has become today.  I could feel the sense of pride that many of the people who lived and served then felt as I strolled through the club.  I really enjoyed browsing through all the donated memorbilia that was on display, the stuff was fantastic.  I would like to thank all the people who donated the items for us to enjoy and I would like to thank the club for putting this together, I don't know exactly who was behind the idea but you know who you are and you did a great job.  I also heard a rumor that this was the first time the club has ever sold out the Parasol room for an event like this, and so to Vince and the rest of the BOD I would say, congratulations and thank you for a job well done.  Keep up the good work.
