Low Gross/Low Net Tournament

RMWGC members, anxious to tee ‘em up, played the Low Gross/ Low Net tournament on February 5, using the North Course.  A,B,C Flight results bring Congratulations to the following winners:

FLIGHT A

Gross: E. Jane White (91), Jean Paik (94), Joan Lake (94), Kimiko Pumilia (95)

Net: Ann Coeur (78), Fran Mezzio (78), Bev Carr-Barrow (80), Sunny Robinson (83)

FLIGHT B

Gross: Charlene Steving (103), Doris Hanson (106), Betty Warner (107)

Net: Margaret Niederberger (81), Masako Matano (86), Claudia Faeth (87), Paulette Satterley (87)

FLIGHT C

Gross: Ruth Dragash (104), Karen Kehoe (108), Linda Weatherholt (117), Vi Thatcher (117)

Net: Shirley Anderson (87), Gene Snyder (88), Cindy McCarver (94), Gail Lewandowski (94)

Closest to the Pin is always a challenge and weather conditions play a big part.  None of this was daunting to Joan Lake who landed her tee shot 7’ 11 ½” from the cup on the #2 hole.  Equally undaunted was Masako Matano (8’2”) and Fran Mezzio (9’2”).  Connie Heimbecker (8’6”) was the closest on Hole #12 along with Ruth Dragash (11’8”).  Fran Mezzio (22’10’) took KP honors the second time for the day.  CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!

The 5th was the start of the years first Eclectic.  If you have signed up for Eclectic, be sure to post your days scores in the Ec. book.  Shirley Anderson is available for any question.

February 26th is the General Meeting.  The shot gun start for golf is an opportunity to socialize with other members over lunch.  Sign up in the locker room for golf & lunch or lunch only.  Captain, Marilyn Laver, will preside over the meeting which promises to be informative.
