Guest Day was played on March 4th with lady golfers from 10 country clubs participating.  Co-Captain Diane Raggio headed up the tournament played on the North Course.  There was a Long Drive contest, won by Fran Mezzio.  Connie Heimbecker was Closest to the Pin on #2 and E. Jane White took honors on hole # 6.  The format was two best balls of the foursome.  RMWGC winners were:

Coming to RMCC to play golf is always enjoyed by the guests, so plan to play in the next Guest Day, April 8th.  Call Diane Raggio if you need guests from the pay and play list.  Before teeing off there will be a Continental Breakfast and lunch will be served on the Patio.  

With Easter just around the corner the theme was used for the Ham Hunt, played on the South course, March 11th.  Gene Snyder and Char Bonetti chaired the event.  A fun format of Bingo was the tournament theme. The shot gun start brought everyone back to the club house, at the same time, to enjoy a wonderful lunch and announcement of the winners.

Thanks to Charlene Steving for supplying the snacks of jelly beans and crackers.  Also thanks to Greg, Dave and Mike, in the pro shop, for helping to make this a successful tournament.  Laura McAllister ran the 50-50 raffle which netted a good sum for charities and the 3 winners.

The Handicap Tournament dates are April 17, 22 and 24.  The target for member participation is 64, so get your name on the list.  It is chaired by Fran Mezzio and if there are any questions, please contact her.
