A beautiful spring day greeted the Rancho Murieta Niners' April 10 Play Day and produced some outstanding results. Jane Miller won the charm with a net score of 31. And she tied Sharon Heardon for low putts with 13. Lunch and a general meeting followed the tournament.

Chip-in awards for March were presented to Fran Hubbert and Judy Somers. Break 50 awards went to Chris Pasek and Betty Akins. The most improved golfers for March were: Christine Maun, first; Bonnie Kyser, second; Connie Enzensperger, third; Barbara Irelan, fourth; and Judy Forman, fifth.

Mark your calendars for June 13 and 19. Our Niner Twilight couples tournament will be played on Friday, June 13. The theme is "Harry Putter and the Final Score," and the cost is $60 per couple. You must have a
handicap to participate. Any questions, call Nancy Ruff at 354-1750.

On June 19, our "Swingin' Safari Invitational" will take place. Forty-four clubs have been invited. Both courses will be used and the format will be an 18-hole, alternate shot format. This is our big invitational which formerly was known as "River Valley Days." Also, please note that the date has changed from what is shown in the Niners' roster.

Remember to check the Niners' bulletin board for information on activities like the eclectic competition, open days, guest days, couples tournaments, and team play, and other upcoming events. That will help ensure you don't miss deadlines for signup and payment.
