Maybe you've heard about the New York office employee who got stuck in an elevator for 41 hours. The New Yorker did a story and its web site offered a time-lapse video, "Trapped in an Elevator," [2] from the elevator's security camera. We watch the whole thing as the poor guy, in herky-jerk motion, paces, rants, sleeps and tries to pry the doors open. As the 41 hours race by on video, a solemn piano piece plays in the background.
The video was made for parody ... and here they come.

"Trapped in an Elevator for Six Minutes" [4] has the same look and music as the New Yorker video, but -- of course -- this poor soul has to go to the bathroom during his interminable six-minute lock-up. (There's also a nod in the direction of Tom Hanks' "Cast Away" film from 2000.)

And then, upping the ante quite a bit, there's "Trapped in an Elevator ... With Diarrhea." [6] It's not for the faint-hearted, but if you think this kind of thing's funny, then you're going to think this is great.
