Cannot believe it is nearly celebrating its anniversary! Used it once--via golfcart with a friend, but so enjoy the view of it from the RMCC Parasol Room. It is a most lovely sight.

New pedestrian bridge

A great asset to the community...out for a run/walk, visiting family on the north, or heading to the lake.  Unfortunately, the dirt road behind the park on the south is a mud pit in the winter and a dust bowl in the summer...paving would be a fine finishing touch.

Bridge

While the bridge was not primarily intended for the golfers and we have the yellow bridge, it would be more user friendly for us if the locks behind #1 North and # 3 levee and behind the # 3 South green were keyed the same as the key we were issued for the gate behind the #2 South tee box.  Most of us will not use the dirt road thru the park area.

I Notice Guests Enjoy the Bridge

Sometimes I like to bring the kids to the river right below the bridge so they can dig around for colorful pebbles. During Easter I did this and noticed a lot of guests taking a stroll on the bridge and marvelling at the bridge, scenery, river, golf course, etc. I think that in terms of bringing a sense of identity to the community, the bridge has become one of those anchors that visitors look at and remember. As for me, I definitely no longer feel the division between the North and South as separate neighborhoods ever since I've been using it.

Bridge

I cross the bridge 3 times/ week on average- most frequently on my mountain bike heading for the lakes, river trails and backcountry loops. Also have used it running, walking and riding the golf cart to visit friends or go to an ETC concert.  Especially for those of us on the southside it has been a WONDERFUL addition to the community.  I would also second the earlier posts that it would be nice to pave the new path thru Riverview park because of the dust kicked up by the golf cart.

It's Great!

The bridge is a tremendous asset. Kudos to all who labored to make it happen!

The Riverview developer was to pave the trail, which would integrate into their streets system. Paving it is not currently funded in the Parks Fund Matrix and would be a substantial cost to RMA or the Parks Fund which would be hard to swallow when it's a condition upon the Riverview approval and squarely the developer's obligation. Given the apparent extended delay between now and then, however, maybe we have to decide as a community whether to spend some money of our own on paving it or some less costly method of keeping that path serviceable (if there is one).

Bridge

I believe that if the access road were paved, its intended use would be used more frequently. As a golfer, I notice many carts continue to use the first hole on the south as a means to get to the clubhouse.

New Bridge

Richard Robinson This is a major asset to our community. As a north resident it would be very helpful if the approach from the south was completely paved. My wife and I are avid road cyclists and would love to go and come from our rides using the South Gate and avoiding the treachery of the ride from North Gate to South Gate on 16.
