Highway 101 on the shores of Clementia

Concert

The stars always come out at Lake Clementia Amphitheater. On Saturday, there was also a full moon and Highway 101, the hit-making, award-winning country group. The first country-western show in seven seasons of Entertainment, Theatre and Culture concerts proved to be a memorable night for the hundreds who attended with family and friends.

Concert

The four musicians opened the show with one of the first songs to take the top spot on the music charts -- "Cry, Cry, Cry." And they kept going from there with other hits -- "The Bed You Made For Me," "Whiskey If You Were a Woman," "(Do You Love Me) Just Say Yes," and "Somewhere Tonight" -- as well as songs by Merle Haggard, Roger Miller and Rick Nelson for country with an L.A. edge. The dance floor in front of the raised stage filled up early with dancers of all ages, who proved once again that Murietans love to be part of the show. The next ETC concert is a return performance of Hotel California, an Eagles tribute group, Aug. 9.
