The Big Picture: Photos of life in Murieta
Over the years, we've received many wonderful photos by Murietans that capture life here. So here's The Big Picture, a home for those photos. If you've got one (or more) that you'd like to share, please e-mail them to editor@ranchomurieta.com. Your name will appear with the photo. Here's a handful of photos to start.
July 20: The Women's Golf Club holds a nine-hole putting contest for young golfers.
July 5: Papa Doo Run Run wraps up the July 4 holiday weekend at Lake Clementia Amphitheater.
July 4: The automakers may want to learn from Murieta's air-bag technology.
July 4: Tension builds at the starting line for the kids' race in the July 4 Fun Run.

What a GRAND idea! What are the specs? For example, height & width or perhaps pixels? File size limit? Format? Do people need to be identified and with or without written permission to post? Am I getting too nitpicky?

Thanks for the participation, Matt and Cheryl. We'll have another installment of The Big Picture Tuesday.
As for Cheryl's questions, if you're e-mailing files to editor@ranchomurieta.com, don't be (too) concerned about the file size -- unless you're sending a bunch. The photos will be cropped for dimensions here, so don't worry about that at all.
If you took the photo in a public place, there's no need to obtain the permission of anyone in the photo. Unless you're absolutely certain of the identity, please leave it out. Just describe the scene.
Start rooting around those folders and send 'em in! The season doesn't matter. Christmas photos might be nice about now.
