Bandits thank all the Cranks!
On behalf of all the Bandits, THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the team at home (and away) this season. It was a great time at the park, and all of our guests were impressed by the crowd turn out and great atmosphere for games at Stonehouse II park.
I'd also like to thank the local sponsors that helped make this a successful first "full" Rancho Murieta Season. Envision Realty and Realty World provided help with league and team equipment needs (always appreciated, since most of the stuff has to be shipped from the East Coast). The Rancho Murieta Rotary Club also provided great service at the BBQ during the home games. Thanks again sponsors!!!
Although the regular season for Vintage Base Ball is over, the Gold Country Vintage Base Ball schedule continues. In Ione (Howard Park) this coming Sunday, July 29th an All-Star game (11AM) and California Cup Championship match (2PM) are scheduled. The festivities include a home run derby (including Bandit “Coco”) and a BBQ lunch for all ballists and cranks dressed in period attire. Come on out to support your All-Star representatives in the game (Blake "Calaboose" Carmichael, Rob “Rib-eye” Rinaldi, Ben “Coco” Hardt, and Jonathan "Junk Yard Dog" Aberle). Matt "Splint" Corsaut and Terry "T-Bone" Conway were also voted in, but are not able to appear.

the All-Star/Championship game is on Sunday July 27th. Sorry for any confusion.
The Gold Country Vintage Base Ball players will take on the Bay Area Vintage Base Ball players in the morning, and both league champions will play for the West Coast Entry to the Vintage Base Ball World Series held in Massachusetts in August.
Go GCBB!
