quality of life
Visited RM 2 years ago. As soon as I got past the gate (North), I knew I'd like to live here someday. RM really is a special place in many ways: the nice houses, physical attractiveness of the developed sections and the beauty of the large natural sections. I was surprised by the "small town feel" too and I mean that as a compliment. I do think it's important to contribute time and energy into keeping it nice. The pressure to develop is huge. We're given many reasons why "bigger is better". I think it's more important to appreciate a unique community and make any additions slowly and w/ input from the the residents. Slow growth is a useful tool to keep community nice and maintain its distinctiveness. It's hard to beat walking around a lake as the sun sets and the ducks swim slowly. There's the quiet and as sense of security. It really is a great place to live and it's important to contribute to keep it this way.
