The legendary B.J. Thomas and his band began this year's Entertainment, Theatre and Culture for Rancho Murieta summer season by entertaining more than 600 people at Lake Clementia Amphitheater Saturday night.

Hits included "I Just Can't Help Believing," "Hooked on a Feeling" and "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," plus country and gospel hits from Thomas' varied career. An encore featured a rousing cover of "Suspicious Minds" and a soulful "Just My Imagination."
