Ballot count: Motorcycle change to CC&Rs fails

The Rancho Murieta Association announced Tuesday that the effort to revise the CC&Rs to permit motorcycles on the North did not gain enough votes to pass.

Here's the announcement from Danise Hetland, assistant general manager: "The Tally Committee met today to count the votes on the proposed CC&R amendment to allow motorcycles on the North.  There were 574 votes in favor of the amendment and 725 votes against the amendment.  The number of votes needed for passage was 1,299 (60%), therefore the amendment fails."
