Dog park will close for three weeks

The community's dog park at Stonehouse Park will be closed from Monday to Nov. 17 to allow for overseeding and to give the new grass a chance to take hold, the Rancho Murieta Association announced Thursday.

Here's the memo from Rod Hart, the RMA's maintenance manager:

Great News!! The Maintenance Department will be over seeding the Dog Park.  This is our effort to keep the grass green.  The over seeding will take place every fall preceding winter Bermuda grass dormancy. The park will be closed from October 29, 2012 until November 17, 2012 to allow germination and establishment of new turf.
