ETC essay contest offers $1,000 scholarship
Entertainment, Theatre & Culture is sponsoring its 6th annual essay contest for graduating high school seniors who live in Rancho Murieta North or South.
The essay question for 2012 is:
In what ways have technology and social media influenced the arts for the better and for the worse?
ETC will award the $1,000 scholarship directly to the college or trade school the essay contest winner will attend in fall '12 or spring '13 to apply toward the winner’s tuition and fees. The entry form with contest rules is available at the Rancho Murieta Association building or can be downloaded here.
Essays must be 550 to 600 words in length. Entries must be postmarked by June 1. The contest winner will be announced at the June 30 concert.
ETC is a volunteer non-profit organization that provides entertainment events for the Rancho Murieta community. In addition to giving back to the Rancho Murieta community through the ETC essay contest scholarship program, ETC has contributed to the Casino Corral, Susan G.
