The Kiwanis Club Blues & Brews festival Saturday evening brought crowds of party-goers to Lake Clementia Amphitheater for locally produced wines, beers, food and crowd-pleasing entertainment by the Department of Rock. Plaza Foods came up with the idea for the festival almost a decade ago, and the Kiwanis Club took the reins this year. A Kiwanis representative said the event, which filled up after dark, sold the greatest number of tickets in its history. Greg Nelson chaired the event.
