'Oh What a Night' wraps up ETC season
"Oh What A Night! A Musical Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons" is Saturday night's season finale for the 2012 Entertainment, Theatre & Culture concert series. The musical revue was written, directed and choreographed to showcase the boys from Jersey and their hits -- "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take my Eyes Off of You," "Let's Hang On," "Walk Like a Man" and many more.
With Frankie Valli as lead singer, the Four Seasons began its string of number one hits with "Sherry" in 1962. From 1962 to 1968, the group had 27 Top 40 singles, making it one of the few American groups to withstand the Beatles and the British Invasion groups. Valli also enjoyed success as a solo artist. In 1975, the re-formed group hit the top of the charts again with "Who Loves You" and "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)."
At the group's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in 1990, its appeal was credited to the melding of "spotless Italian-American doo-wop harmonies" with Valli's "forceful falsetto and three-octave range."
Showtime for "Oh What a Night!" is 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake Clementia Amphitheater. Tickets are $20 for ETC members and $30 for non-members. Tickets are available at the Rancho Murieta Business Center, The Local Bean and Go Fore Pizza in the Plaza, and at the venue.

I had heard that RMCC was going to have dinner offered at the venue. Has this changed?
