RMA readies Summer Rec program June 14-July 16

The Rancho Murieta Association’s Summer Recreation program will be offered from June 14 through July 16 for kids in preschool through sixth grade. Here are the registration dates, fees and forms.

Registration dates for all participants:

Wednesday, May 19: 1 to 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 20: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Friday, May 21: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday, May 22: 1 to 4 p.m.

Preschool program

For kids 3 to 5 who haven’t completed kindergarten.

Days and times: 8:45 to 11:45 a.m., Monday, Tuesday and Wednedsay at Stonehouse Park

Activities: Storytelling, arts and crafts, singing, music, group play, cooperative play, water fun, snack time and guest speakers.

Fee: $170 per child, with a discount of $10 for each sibling. A $50 refundable deposit is required and is refundable upon completion of required parent volunteer duties. Parents must volunteer to serve three hours at the program.

As the RMA’s announcement notes in capital letters, preschool participants must be potty trained.

General program

For kids in first through third and fourth through sixth grades.

Days and times: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to noon. Mondays through Wednesdays are at Riverview Park, Thursdays are at Stonehouse Park. Field trips will be held on Fridays.

Activities: Monday through Wednesday will feature rotating sports activities, charades, relay games, arts and crafts, snack time, field trips and guest speakers.

Fee: $195 per child, with discount of $10 for each sibling. The cost of optional field trips is to be determined. A $50 refundable deposit per family is required and is refundable upon completion of required parent volunteer duties. Parents must drive on one of the field trips.
