School district plans four meetings in March to discuss finances

The Elk Grove Unified School District will hold four community meetings in March to discuss the potential impact of state budget actions on district operations. District officials say state plans could leave the district with a $40 million shortfall and threaten the jobs of hundreds of teachers.
