Stonehouse Road faces closings next week
Road repairs on Stonehouse Road, which were expected to be complete Friday, will carry into next week, the county Department of Transportation announced Wednesday. The road will be closed in both directions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Only Stonehouse Road residents will have access, and they could experience delays.
“Because of significant deterioration of the pavement surface, it has become necessary to perform more extensive base repairs to portions of Stonehouse Road,” the county said in an announcement.
The county advises using Latrobe Road (to Scott Road) or Kiefer Boulevard (to Grant Line and White Rock roads) instead.

Seems simple to me. Mr. County Trans sez Stonehouse would be resurfaced from 16 only to Escuela (which he did and all good), and now announcement that Stonehouse would be closed both lanes next week Mon -Weds 8-5 that same 0.5 mile stretch, suggesting lengthy detours. Let's take advantage of that great $75K gate at Escuela which we all paid for, and open to residents transiting to/from Murieta-Folsom, North of that Stonehouse road improvement, to ingress/egress at that roadwork closure time. And please CSD/RMA, advertise this.
