Two girls softball teams win honors

Congratulations are in order for two Cosumnes River Girls Softball League All-Star teams. Read about their successes here.

The Cosumnes River Girls Softball League (CRGSL)  had two All-Star teams competing in the Amateur Softball Association of America championship tournament in Lincoln last weekend.  The 14U team took first place and advanced to the ASA Western Nationals to be held the end of July in Fort Collins, Colo.  The win included a check to cover the entrance fee for the Western Nationals.  Watch for updates and upcoming fundraising activities to help cover the cost of travel and lodging for the team.

The U10 team took third place, one win away from advancing to the ASA California State Championships in San Diego.

Another trophy for softball girls

Trophy

Our local 14-year old girls All-star softball team brought home another 1st place trophy last weekend. So I wanted to let the community know what a great and hard working group of girls we have and give the girls some recognition.
