Representatives of a landscape architecture firm work with Murietans on the park's amenities.

A new park began to take shape Thursday evening when neighbors met with landscape architects to talk about what they want the 2.6-acre site to offer. The park site was carved out of a 21-acre lot in the Greens subdivision in Murieta South that includes wetland and tree-mitigation areas.  Read more »

A special meeting of the Rancho Murieta Association Communications Committee was held Tuesday to establish a committee to quickly study alternatives to having the RMA run the cable system. Meanwhile, plans to launch new programming on the upgraded cable system, completed recently at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars, are still on hold.  Read more »

A Superior Court judge on Friday heard the Rancho Murieta Association's appeal of a Small Claims Court decision about granting exclusive uses of common area. After a 40-minute hearing in Small Claims Court, Judge James Henke said he would review the documents in the case before making a decision.  Read more »

Saying they were feeling stung about a private negotiation that the other side made public, the Rancho Murieta Association board of directors questioned fire and sheriff's officials Tuesday night about the possibility of putting a public-safety radio tower on RMA property.
