Property tax reduction available for seniors, disabled
Published May 3, 2008Residents 65 or older and disabled people in the community may apply for a 70 percent reduction in a local property tax if they have no school-age children living with them. The Measure A assessment passed in 1987 and 1998 provides funds to improve schools. Read more »
Community Church's school plans call for opening in 2010
Published April 8, 2008The Rancho Murieta Community Church has announced it will establish a school as part of its new church facility. The complex will be constructed on a 20-acre Stonehouse Road site donated by the Frank family in 2005. The Rancho Murieta Christian Academy is expected to open in the fall of 2010. Read more »

There was enough energy generated at the Country Club Friday night to get the community through its next power outage thanks to the annual father/daughter dance sponsored by the Cosumnes River Elementary School PTA.
