In response to: Amphitheater sell-out brings back the music of the Beatles

A suggestion for improvement -- more porta-potties

I attended this concert and had a wonderful time. The amphitheater facilities are the perfect setting for this type of concert. With one exception -- rest rooms. With the concert sold out in advance, it would have taken one phone call to have two or four more porta-potties brought in.

Overall, a great show and keep up the good work.

Join Etc. and help make next year's schedule even better

To all of the people who attended the concert and are not members, please consider it next year.

If you are interested in a particular person performing, become a member, maybe even get on the board and help get the performers out here you want. It takes time and money to get name bands our here, so step up the the plate and help.

This was a great event and hopefully as the word spreads, more people next year will join.

The event was well organized

I have to make a comment! I did parking and my 11-year-old son helped with the golf cart parking, and I have to say that all the concertgoers were great! This was my first time parking cars (didn't get much in tips but didn't cause any accidents either!). The event was very organized. Good job by all!

I can't remember a better time

What an awesome event! I can't remember when we've enjoyed ourselves more!

This was pure entertainment and good old nostalgic fun! Our '60s-era group was swaying, singing, dancing and re-living our youth! Rain was spectacular, along with the setting -- Lake Clementia with Mars in the background.

Thank you, Etc., and all the volunteers who made the evening so special. It's amazing to think you all made this happen for $20 per person -- and in our own backyard! Wow!

Thank you, Etc. and the volunteers

Kudos to Etc. for bringing us Rain in August. It was a fantastic performance, evening. ... It took a lot of hard work and dedication to bring this all about. A big thank you for donating your time and making it all happen in our community!

The Rain show made a great statement about our community

My wife and I and another couple from out of the area attended the Rain concert last night. The concert was a tremendous success. The band was great, the crowd was enthusiastic and Etc. and all the volunteers did a wonderful job of organizing the entire event. Congratulations to all involved. What a great way to show visitors what a great community we have here.

Would Etc. poll the community about possible acts we could see?

Rain was fantastic last night. This was the first time I truly enjoyed a concert. Why? Because there was no fuss! We didn't have to drive anywhere, we didn't have to fight with thousands of people at a typical concert, and then we didn't have to get stuck in a major traffic jam to get home.

Hey, I wonder if we could get Chris Isaac? If anyone out there from Etc. is reading, is it possible to send out a list of prospective entertainers and ask residents "Yes, No, Maybe ... How many in your party? ... And would you be willing to pay $XX to see them basically in your own back yard"?" This way maybe we could get someone like Chris Isaac, the Righteous Brothers, or whoever might play a small venue.
