After 35 years, librarian is parking her bookmobile

The Wanderer Bookmobile will continue to dock at Murieta Village, but librarian Linda G. Howe will no longer be at the helm. After 35 years with the Sacramento County library system, most of them spent as the operator of a rolling library, Howe retires at the end of the month.

Three cars hit by thieves

Thieves stole items from three unlocked vehicles parked in the driveways of homes on Nevar Court and Pera Drive in Murieta North overnight, according to Security Chief Greg Remson.

Bridge opens quietly (with celebration still to come)
